About Us

Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Compusolve IT Solutions Ltd was formed in 2013 by Brother-In-Laws, Darren Bailey and the late Andrew Burnett.

Andrew had been involved in the IT Industry providing Software Development Services and IT Support to his clients for over 30 years to a host of industries from manufacturing to nursing and health care.

Some of our current clients had worked with Andrew for over 20 years.

Having previously worked in the hospitality, travel and insurance sectors, Darren has over 20 years experience providing IT Support, Software and Web Development and bespoke IT Training.

We work with small to medium sized business from 1 – 250 employees in a variety of sectors in manufacturing, health and not for profit organisations.

Rather than a supplier – customer relationship, we build a partnership with our customers, offering a personal service.

Our unique service offers both the option of IT Support and Managed IT Services, along with Bespoke Software Development, offering the complete IT solution.

Meet our Team

Andrew Burnett (1967-2024)

Co-Founder

Andrew was always passionate about all things IT and Tech, and his passion continues to inspire us. Andrew passed away unexpectedly in November 2024 whilst attending the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Darren Bailey

Director and Co-Founder

Co-founder and Director, Darren overseas all aspects of the business from Sales, Marketing, Development and Customer Support. Darren is also actively involved in Scouts in his “spare” time and a fan of Formula 1.

Adrian Chamberlain

Lead Analyst Programmer

Adrian started life at Compusolve as an Apprentice Software Developer in 2014 and went on to complete his Level 4 Apprenticeship and is now a dedicated Lead Analyst Programmer. Outside of work Adrian is involved with Scouts and enjoys climbing and rugby

Sophie Wilson

IT Support Analyst

Sophie joined Compusolve in 2021 providing friendly and efficient customer support to our customers. Sophie enjoys drawing and reading a good book to help wind down.
